Kingswood Oxford B Baseball lost at Renbrook 3-0.
In its only game of the year, the team put together a competitive performance. KO’s starting pitcher Jaden Hinderlie ’23 set the tone and kept us in the game. Over three innings, Hinderlie gave up three runs, but only allowed two hits. He also struck out three batters. Jacob Joseph ’23 came in in relief, and gave us two scoreless innings. Both Joseph and Hinderlie were aided by solid defense, especially from Elliot Shani ’23 at first base and Pierce Flynn ’23 at second base. At the plate, KO had five hits, and had a runner in scoring position nearly every inning. Helping the offense were Joe Nathan ’23, Rayyan Haider ’24, and Scott Taylor ’24, who each had one base hit. After a long buildup to this game, KO had a strong showing, and should be proud of its performance.
