The KO MS A baseball team beat St. Timothy’s 15-1.
In a potent offensive showing, KO put 15 runs on the board in only 4 innings. The Wyverns scored 7 runs in the second inning and 6 runs in the fourth inning. Jack Decker ’24 had a big day at the plate, with two hits, including a line drive double in the 3rd inning. Jaden Hinderlie ’23 and Elliot Shani ’23 also both had RBI singles that helped to put the game out of reach. Rayyan Haider ’24 started on the mound for KO, pitching 4 quick innings. He gave up only 3 hits, while striking out 7 batters. Mac Louis ’23 came in to pitch the fifth inning, closing out the game in fine fashion. This was a tremendous game for the Wyverns, who improve to 3-2 this season. Everyone contributed in some way, and it was a real team effort. KO hopes to pick up another win against Rectory on Tuesday.
