Baseball – Boys MS A vs Renbrook School – Away
MS Baseball
On Saturday May 5th, the Middle School Baseball defeated Renbrook 10 – 4.
Aidan Bradley ‘22 (4 hits, 4 runs, 1 RBI) opened his stellar offensive day with a double in the top of the first and came around to score on a Brady Nichols ‘23 (2 hits, 1 run, 1 RBI) single. Later, Bradley homered to lead off the third and Jack Decker ‘24 (3 hits, 1 run, 3 RBI) knocked in Elijah Wells ‘24 (3 hits, 3 runs, 1 RBI) to increase the Wyvern lead to 3 – 0. After the Hawks tied it up in the bottom of the 4th, Bradley, Wells, and Decker put the Wyverns back on top 5 – 3. Kingswood Oxford also got contributions Preston Seaver ‘23 (1 run), Dylan Achatz ‘22 (1 hit), and Teddy Schwartz ‘22 (2 hits, 1 RBI) to help put the game away in the 7th. In addition, Sam Bromberg ‘23 and Rayyan Haider ‘24 had a number of good at bats. Defensively, Bradley was strong in center field, Decker held down first base, and Nichols continued to excel behind the plate. Achatz and Bradley combined to strike out 8 on the day and Jack Gold ‘23 was steady at third base. Kingswood Oxford will travel to play Rectory on Wednesday May 9th.
