Baseball – Boys MS A vs Hopkins School – Away
MS Baseball
On April 18th, the Middle School Baseball team tied the Hopkins School 4 – 4.
The Wyverns fell behind 2 – 0 early in the game before taking a 3 – 2 lead in the 4th. KO added a run in the 5th but saw the Hilltoppers pull within a run in the bottom half of the 5th before tying it in the 7th.
Christian Pedro ‘22 (3 hits, 1 run, 1 RBI, Devin Wolff ‘23 (1 hit, 1 run) Brady Nichols ‘23 (1 hit, 1 run), Chase Gibson ‘22 (1 RBI), and Jack Gold ‘23 (1 hit, 1 RBI)led the Wyvern attack. Defensively, Pedro and Elijah Wells ‘24 turned a double play and Aidan Bradley ‘22 was solid in center field. Culligan was strong on the mound with Bradley, Wolff, and Pedro contributing as well. Finally, Nichols was strong behind the plate. The Wyverns will play their home opener on April 23rd.
