JV Baseball

The KO JV Baseball team defeated Canterbury 6-5 on a walk-off single by Brandon Stake in the bottom of the 7th inning.

Mike DeMio started pitching for the Wyverns and battled his way through 4 innings.  Mitch Autorino pitched the 5th inning, and Riley Gravel got the win, pitching the 6th and 7th innings.  KO scored three times in the bottom of the 6th, all with two outs.  Gravel started the rally with a single, and scored along with with Brandon Stake and Jack Kinney to cut the deficit to one run.  In the bottom of the 7th, Mitch Autorino started the winning rally with a walk.  After two outs, Gravel extended the inning by getting on on an error, and Stake drove Gravel in with a single to win it.  The KO JV boys baseball team is now 1-0, and will play next on Saturday 4/14 at Pomfret.
