Description:

Studies show that Public Speaking skills have become one of the most desired skills amongst employers. By learning public speaking at a young age, children can enhance their communication, confidence, and articulation. With more exposure, their comfort level will improve as practicing public speaking can develop children’s self-assurance, pronunciation, and clarity of thought. Most importantly, public speaking skills develop strong critical thinking skills, active listening, enhanced concentration, and leadership development.

Students in this class will work on narrative, informative, and persuasive speaking skills as well as spoken word application. Students’ hard work will culminate in a parent presentation during our last class on October 28th (which will begin at 5PM instead of 5:15PM).
