program Description:

This spring, join us for an engaging and transformative camp designed to elevate your leadership skills. Through a “press secretary” approach, students will learn to respond to difficult questions and challenging situations with confidence, clarity, and composure.

In this course, students will:

  • Develop critical thinking skills to approach disagreements with curiosity and respect.

  • Practice civil discourse by responding thoughtfully with data, research, and actionable solutions.

  • Strengthen active listening skills to address tough questions in public forums.

  • Explore crisis management strategies inspired by real-world scenarios in media, politics, and public speaking.

  • Students will practice listening to understand rather than listening to respond.

Students will engage in hands-on activities that sharpen their ability to think on their feet while remaining thoughtful, kind, and solution-focused. Whether you’re negotiating difficult situations, addressing disagreements, or presenting research-driven responses, this camp will provide the “on-the-spot” training needed to succeed as a leader and communicator.

Perfect for students looking to develop strong leadership skills, this course offers practical tools to navigate public dialogue and grow as confident, informed speakers.
