The Middle School Boys Lacrosse Team practices and plays their home games on Hoffman Turf Field. Coach Shafer believes in values-based coaching, an understanding that the tools learned in practice and on the field can help a player through adversity in life. These lessons build character and allow you to face headwinds with fortitude. Shafer also highlights the importance of our school values: demonstrating honesty, integrity, respect, and learning with passion, and caring beyond one’s self.
At the middle school level, the lacrosse team puts a heavy emphasis on strength, agility and conditioning along with stick skills, and game-related fundamentals. These fundamentals include: cradling, dodging, shooting, catching, passing and strategic plays and coverages on both offense and defense.
