Visual Arts for Self-Expression

Visual Arts

Learning the Power of Art

Creativity is critical thinking. Art opens up those possibilities beyond what we already know. It encourages self-expression and creativity while building confidence and a sense of individual identity. Plus, it’s a wonderful outlet for releasing the pressures of everyday life. Many KO students visit the art studios in their downtime to pick up a pen and ink or play the guitar and enjoy the space with others making art.

Explore, engage, and discover different ways to express yourself with Kingswood Oxford’s art curriculum. Our foundation courses will teach you to create and interpret works of art and the world around us. Our electives will give you the freedom to play with form, style, and your own inner artist.

“I don’t think I would have discovered my passion for art at any school other than KO. Here, there’s no divide between academics and the arts. We study both. We have the time in our schedules and the support of the teachers to discover and pursue our passions.”
— Sasha, sophomore
