Ethan Pinkes ‘20

Coming off of a successful 2018 season, he has already shown that he is a force to be reckoned with this year. In the first meet of the season Pinkes was the team’s fastest runner and recorded a time that exceeded the one he recorded only one year ago by +3:16 on the same course.

Pinkes said, “I am very excited for this season because of the potential our team has. To win in cross country, you have to have a solid group of four or five runners perform well and place high. This season we have a solid group forming which gives our team a lot of potential for the coming season. I am really happy with this starting time. I am very excited to be a captain especially under someone like Coach Goodman, who has so much running wisdom from his time as a college athlete and over 30 years of coaching experience. I am very honored to be selected for Wyvern of the Week.”
