National Merit Names Three Commended Students

Three Kingswood Oxford students in the Class of 2022, Zeno Chen of South Windsor, Nate Welsh of East Granby Welsh, and Qiaorui (Charles) Zhao of Farmington, have been recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation as Commended Students based on their impressive performance on the 2020 PSAT/NMSQT last October. These three students are among the approximately 34,000 Commended Students nationwide being recognized in this way for their exceptional academic promise.

“We are thrilled for these outstanding students to have been recognized for their accomplishments. Not only are they academically gifted, but they are also supremely talented in other areas such as music, video, and leadership that make the KO community the vibrant place that it is,” said Head of the Upper School Dan Gleason.
