What a difference

A Day Makes

Why Students Flourish at KO

At Kingswood Oxford, our people-first culture underpins all that we do. We know students — how they learn, and who they are as people, learners, athletes, and artists. And by us knowing students so well, they, in turn, know themselves. KO students flourish in unimaginable ways. See how KO infuses each day with creativity, communication, connection, and collaboration.

2025 Niche Best Schools

Middle School (Grades 6 - 8)

We understand adolescents. Our job is to prepare them for anything. They roll up their sleeves to put theory into practice. We teach them how to think more critically and creatively in a vibrant classroom environment designed to engage and motivate the middle school brain.

Upper School (Grades 9 - 12)

Students thrive differently at KO because every day at KO is designed for how high school brains learn best. Small classes, meaningful relationships, motivated peers, inspired teachers, dedicated advisors, and abundant opportunities all combine seamlessly to ensure endless possibilities.

The bottom line is about caring for the students that we teach and wanting to know who they are. We see how we can challenge them and work together to make that happen.

Helping students reach their potential is about showing them that it's okay to make mistakes and stumble and that learning can be hard. But, it's also showing them that you have faith in them, believe in them, and not let them fail.

KO's community is supportive and collaborative. When I applied for Outward Bound, my friends didn't question me and say, ‘That’s not like you.’ They said, ‘Go for it! You know you can do it!’
